Diving in Puerta Galera

Hey there,

This weekend I am going scuba diving in Puerta Galera. It will be my first time diving since doing my open water course so I am a wee bit nervous. We are going to celebrate my friend Heidi's birthday!

Last weekend I went to San Juan in La Union with Jane, Jo and Rach. Its a surfing place and was really good craic. It was so cheap there! We went out for for dinner on Saturday night then went to the beach where was a free concert with 12 bands playing all night. The local bars had put drinks stalls and food stalls on the beach. I spent 500 pesos (6 quid) on dinner and drinks for the whole night all night and we were all drunk. Bargain. The only problem was the awful bus journey to het there. It was fine on the way there on Friday night we had a few glasses of wine then slept the whole way on the 5 hour trip. On the way back it took nearly 7 hours to get back. The worst part is when people came on selling food and drinks to the passengers, and a man was selling balut which are the most disgusting things in the entire world!!!! Thank god noone bought any! Next time we go up though Jane is going to drive up in her new shiny car.

Jane and Rachel are going to La Union to compete in a beginners surfing competition this weekend so good luck to them!
