Boxing ball

Well this is the first time I have ever been to a ball with a boxing ring in the middle of the floor! It was so random. It was a charity event for the Springboard Foundation that helps people in need in the Philippines. There were raffles and auctions it was loads of fun. The free drinks all night helped dull the pain from my sore nose...bring on the frozen margaritas! During the meal there were 3 boxing matches, one men's professional match, a women's professional match (weird) and an ex pat amateur match. Our friend Paul was fighting in that game and won! It was fab there was an amazing atmosphere when 30 of us were all cheering for him. I was such a hypocrite...I was busy saying the day before "Oh I don't think I can watch a friend fight like that" but on the night we were screaming for Paul to hit the other lad harder!! It was nice to get all dressed up as well the dress code was red or black for ladies so I had a dress made for me by a local dress designer/tailor.
