My God I'm a sucker for marketing campaigns

But...in my defense Maggie is as susceptible to marketing as I am so that makes me feel better. On Saturday Maggie and I were out shopping in Singapore (which is a shoppers paradise) when we came across the electronics section of the department store. It had those really expensive chairs that massage your whole body. They were amazing, Maggie and I were both pretending to look for things for our wedding lists. As if anyone is really gonna buy us a chair that costs $8500, but they let us use them for ages. Whilst we were there a really lovely Filipina from Metro Manila was helping us, giving us info and shipping costs etc.

We found these massage/toning gadgets that you strap onto your body and the vibration supposedly shakes all you fat away. I'm actually laughing as I write this! Anyway Maggie and I both ended up buying sets of them. They are called uZap they look like this.

So, obviously after using mine I'll look like the girl in the advert. (Haven't read the fine print as yet)

Or maybe I'll stay looking like this fella

Either way I quite like mine. Maggie said hers makes her feel nauseous; oops! There was a really miserable looking fella working as a supervisor in that section of the department store. He didn't come near us at all when we were browsing but then tried to steal the friendly little Filipina's commission at the last minute! Cheeky fecker. Luckily Maggie noticed that he was entering the info into the computer and made sure her name was on the sales record. I'll keep using it and write any imaginary progress I might have!
