Some Hong Kong photos

Oops looks like I have forgotten to post here for a while. I have also been rubbish on facebook as well. So busy at work! Anyway I will try to be better.

Mike and I went to Hong Kong in December. It was brilliant. The city is unbelievably well organised and everything seems to run on schedule. I definitely recommend it as a place to visit. Here are some of our photos.

The view of Hong Kong island from the star ferry .

Mike and I on the funicular tram going to Victoria Peak.
Me at Victoria Peak. It has one of the most incredible views I have ever seen.
We went to Hong Kong Ocean Park. It is a theme park with rides and animal enclosures/shows etc. HK Ocean Park is on two sites that are accessible by these very cool cable cars. The view was amazing but it was pretty scary at times.

Pandas! They had a Chinese panda enclosure at Ocean Park which we thought was quite cool, some of the other tourists there were so excited that they were pushing and shoving to get to see them. The staff had to do some serious crowd control. Very bizarre.

At Ocean Park they had a whole section dedicated to Christmas. It was lovely.

Outside the seal show.

Dolphin and seal show.

Cool jellyfish tank. In HK they call them sea jellies.
Mike on the steps to the Temple of Ten Thousand Buddhas
Me on one of the ten million steps to get to the temple.
Some of the ten thousand Buddhas

The temple was gorgeous inside with lots of twinkly lights and beautiful golden Buddhas

Mike lighting some incense.
