Honeymoon pictures

When Mike and I left Manila in the summer we still hadn't planned our honeymoon and were banking on some fab late deals. There were lots of great deals but we narrowed it down to two choices. Both were all inclusive deals in beautiful resorts. One in Tunisia and the other in Egypt. I was all set to book when Mike said he thought he might like to see some of Ireland instead. So we went to Donegal, Belfast and Dublin instead on a bit of a sight seeing/ pub crawl honeymoon. It was brilliant, we were very touristy. We went on hop on hop off bus tours, castles museums and galleries. But best of all we went to some amazing pubs and restaurants !

Me and Mike in Donegal.

One of the bars we were to in Belfast was called he Crown. It had lots of little private snugs to sit in which were really cool. Every now and then the door would be swung open by a serious looking barman hoping to catch someone doing something they weren't supposed to be doing.

Mike in the snug.

Beer! Most of our honeymoon pictures are of us in amazing Irish pubs drinking beer!

Viewing gallery in Belfast.

Mike in front of the Stormont Parliament building in Belfast. It is MASSIVE!

Murals in the Falls Road area.

Me and Mike in the Botanical gardens.

Cool leaf in one of the greenhouses.

Queens University, Belfast.

'The Wheel of Belfast' - like the London Eye or the Singapore Flyer but much scarier as the pods are tiny and they sway.

The Spire of Dublin which replaced Nelson's column that stood in O' Connell street before a bomb in 1966.

The Book of Kells. Mike was NOT supposed to take this picture. There were guards everywhere telling people to put their cameras away. Very embarrassing.

Me in Trinity college in front of a sculpture.

Mike with Molly Malone.

St. Stephen's Green, Dublin.

Mike Eustace on Eustace Street, Dublin.

A cool pub.

Another cool pub.

Another cool pub... Are sensing a theme yet?

Dublin Castle.

Mike with a massive piece of meat!

Me in the most popular traditional pub in Temple Bar, Dublin, Ireland drinking some American beer...
