Holy Manila!

As a Catholic born and raised in Ireland, trudging off to mass every Sunday rain or shine I find it quite amusing how the Filipinos fit mass in with their schedule of shopping and walking around malls. They have come up with the ingenious idea of bringing mass to the mall. I took these pictures when my mum was in Manila. She was dumbfounded watching these people waiting for mass to start in the middle of mall. While we were chuckling and taking pictures they were staring at us as if we were crazy not to have seen mass in a mall before. I mean seriously, people were just dandering past with their shopping when mass started later. (I didn't take any pictures of the priest saying mass)
